have just bought a 999,have not ridden yet, what a beautifull bike.wondering why the rev limiter warning light is constantly flashing when parked, ie,with steering lock on, with ignition on, etc.I have been told bike has a power commander fitted?
It's normal, just showing you that the immobilizer is active Should go out after the dash 'start-up' sequence and revert to a shift light when the engine is running.
