so following a good couple of hours browsing through my Christmas gift ( a book with every model Ducati produced since 1946) ( yes I am sure the author forgot some ) I come to the conclusion that of the early ones, I would like the following: a 1952 cruiser would be nice, the Apollo of 1964, would be lovely, a nice little red 250 Mach 1 1964 takes my fancy, and a 1969 350 scrambler in red would do nicely, so if your garage is too full and you got one of the above in pristine condition and you want to give it away for very little to a good home, please feel free to contact me, in case your not so inclined, a nice picture of your pride and joy would make me and other forum members very happy too, thank you!
lovely where did you spot that? or is it yours? detailing on the bike is gorgeous, cruiser would suit @Robarano , nice replacement for the scooter
Belongs to a guy i used to work with in Australia. I'd lose the 748R to make way for a Mach 1, one of my favourite Ducati's
easy, look up the ducati 1952 cruiser and you see for your selves that there is no dare involved lol, logic says you have taste, because you have a few bikes that only people with good taste buy, so if you have good taste you will have to like a 1952 Ducati Cruiser, and you don't even need the AA if you have a flat tyre!
It looks like the "er what?" Icon I've never seen one and imagine most disolved years ago, I wonder how many were produced.
My dad had a hailwood rep about 12 yrs ago. He also had a aluminium tank and different fairing with it.
They did them in red too apparently in a red/grey combo, did you see the pics with the hiding place of the spare wheel?
Hasn't it been talked about for a while? Sadly entirely predictable. If VAG can harvest some additional money from the brand, they will. How may Scramblers are there now? 10ish?
There are 11 scramblers now in the range with the 3 new 1100's. There's been talk of a scooter for some while as you say, but it's only been a rumour up to now. It's rumour no more.
I may have asked this before but how can a "scrambler" possibly have an 1100cc engine? Makes no sense to my mind but maybe I am a stick-in-the-mud. Cough.
