Here for sale is an opportunity to be unique amongst your Ducati owning brethren and become an owner of a rare motorcycle/motorcycles. For sale I have two Ducati Indiana 750's and a pile of spares. In reality this is more like one bike with a lifetime supply of bits unless you are a dedicated tinkerer (in which case you should be able to get two good 'uns if you put the time in). Please do have a look around the internet to find alternate examples for sale because I've looked and can't find any at the moment out there. For the whole lot I am asking £2300. The 'good bike' is currently out of MOT and is in need of a small amount of TLC before you get her on the road (Clutch master cylinder needs an overhaul, timing belt needs changing due to age + minor niggles). I have had her on the road for a couple of years but that was now two years ago. Photos are below. The second bike is not as pretty. I have not had her on the road, I have not given her the love she deserves, she has lurked in the back corner of my shed glowering at me for the past couple of years...... As for the spares, I laid them all out last autumn and took the following photos, these are mostly suitable for the 750 but there are some oddities like some of the exhaust sections which I think are from a smaller unit: I'm happy to answer any questions but please bear with me as I don't get a huge amount of spare time to access this forum and check on how its going. I have the log books for both bikes.
Hi, would someone please send me a couple of photos of the clutch handle assembly including the choke lever of an Indiana 750 1989 as I am trying to locate an original part and the choke lever is missing on my bike. Thanks
if you put "Indiana 750" in Google search, and then select "items" at top you might find some zoom-able pictures. https://www.google.com/search?sca_e...AHZH0ASAQ0pQJegQIDBAB&biw=1920&bih=1051&dpr=1
Just in case you don't know, that is identical to the carburated SS models. PS: l̶o̶o̶k̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶c̶l̶o̶s̶e̶ ̶I̶ ̶d̶o̶u̶b̶t̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶i̶s̶ ̶s̶t̶a̶n̶d̶a̶r̶d̶.̶
It is possible it is standard, on further investigation: this is a 1990 Supersport (this model ran concurrently to the Indiana) And the same switches are on my 1997 SS
Looking very similar indeed. what I really need is a pic from top and the front on the lever that shows the choke lever.
The image is 1990 model range, but it looks like they carried it all the way through to the end of the carby production in 1997
I've owned both Indiana and several 900ss, can confirm the lh switchgear and choke lever are the same. Part number 036154120, plenty available for not a lot of cash if you google the part number.
They’re a kind bunch here but personally I’d not admit to owning a Indiana, I do however admire your honesty
