HI.. wonder if anyone can shed some light on this. iv bought a 2003 Ducati monster from Salvage, bike is a Cat B but all the vin and engine numbers are in tact.the damage is light and the chassis untouched. now iv spoke to DVLA and its possible to put the bike back on the road with an inspection. but i dont know the registration.... iv since found a bike dealer who can check the Vin for me to find the reg but this is where we are stuck......there is 2 rows of vin numbers..... one starts ZDM600m****** (a 13 digit number,).. then below DGM 53709om... what part is the vin or do i add them together so its a 23 digit number or is it just the first row of 13 numbers. cant be getting it wrong as it cost me £25 a go to have it checked and no refund for mistakes.... your knowledge will be greatly appreciated.. cheers
