Another air cooled Multistrada that I’ve refurbed up for sale, It’s had many new parts and some. I focus on these mainly on these air cooled Multis and have run one (a 2003) for years myself annually touring Europe with mine. The main part of the refurb/look of the bike is the painting of the motor with something that lasts, also this has new colour for the wheels that brightens the whole look. Other touches I’ve done are carbon clutch cover, carbon hugger, carbon exhaust shield and some carbon look wrapped items. Many stainless steel fasteners round the motor and the frame. Service work to the motor: Includes new exhaust valve guides, seats recut, all the valves lapped in and new stem seals. New Dayco timing belts, valve clearances set (a printout inc) and cams dialed-in to spec. The starter motor has been stripped and cleaned with new bright mounting bolts (earth points). Throttle bodies cleaned with injectors tested/as a matched pair. Motor new parts: Clutch pressure plate bearing – Left engine cover bearing (crank end) – various gaskets – new o-rings as required – Head studs & nuts. Valve guides from Louigi Moto – Dayco timing belts – stem seals – NGK plugs – front sprocket (silent type) Earth point – Starter motor brushes/positive post - Shell Advance Ultra 10w40 – Oil filter (the pick-up strainer cleaned) – SS fasteners for the covers. Bike work: The wiring loom has been tidied along with new battery terminals. Head bearings checked greased - New Motul 7.5 fork oil - New pair Pirelli ST tyres. The brakes cleaned, pads (¾ remain) and new fluid. Bike new parts: Tyres – Wheel paint – Bar grips – Outer fuel lines - In tank fuel filter (Mahle KL145) – fork oil & seals – A few stainless steel fasteners. Set-up: Throttles synced, fueling adjusted, mainly in low and mid areas as it breathes better, AFR checked with wide lambda sensor. Starts great, runs low rpm fine in town with no low rpm surging. Extras included: New paddock stand – Full workshop manual on memory stick…. And 12mths MOT….
