Hi guys, I've currently got A Power Commander fitted to my bike and I'm in the market for a quickshifter (for my Hypermotard). Fortunately the power commander allows you to use any Normally-open or Normally-closed (aka ON/OFF) switch as a quickshifter, hence I was thinking of purchasing a 899 OEM quickshifter and retrofitting it. So my question is, does anyone know what type of sensor the OEM quickshifter for the 899/1199 etc uses? more specifically is it just a ON/OFF switch (Normally-open or Normally-closed switch) or is it a variable strain gauge type? And also is it a push or pull type? Any insight would be much appreciated, cheers!
