What Pierre said. Cal could really do with having a lessons on how to be diplomatic, he flamed Yamaha publicly and is doing the same with Ducati, he knew what he was getting into. Also it really grids my gears how long he 'ummmmmmmmmmmmmms' for in interviews, in between every ummmmmm friggin ummmmmm word or sentance
The guy can't communicate. Fogarty summed up factory support when he was told by the crew that all he needed to do was not to tell them what you think needs to be changed just say what's wrong and they would sort it. That meant engine, suspension, everything. Cal is an accident waiting to happen.
here's some interesting gossip... Fast MotoGP News: Aleix Espargaro and Andrea Iannone, Factory Riders for Ducati?
I like Cal, he did much better on the Yamaha and probably had little choice to try the Ducati to progress, however it seems at present he cannot master it. If Vale could not ride it, who the hell can. I didn't like Stoner at all, but he tamed the beast and I wish he would come back and prove either he is god or the Ducati MotoGP bike is basically unrideable. I want to see the bike win, preferably with a Brit on it
Thanks to David over on motomatters.com below is a link to a rather comprehensive round up 'silly season' speculation. Sounds like a few big changes all round if you don't include the top 4, customer honda getting new valves + bhp, Aprilia GP entry being fast tracked and of course Suzuki. Few more Brits too, Eugene laverty, Jonny rea...... The sooner the new rules come in to play the better for me as it's simply not level enough for world class riders to compete. I don't doubt MM etc are the best, but they do have THE best bikes, level that off and feathers could be ruffled easier IMO and that leads to new winners.
