Another complete noob question. Just bought the official ducati single sided paddock stand for my 1299. Can I leave the bike on this 24/7 or is it only to be used for chain cleaning etc?

First bike I've had where the stand only holds up one side.

keep bike on it as long as you want. Mine lives on paddock stand as it has no sidestand.

i understand the stand works with a combination of mirrors defying the laws of gravity.................

No really, look at the length of the pin on the stand it goes right through the rear spindle, you can sit on the bike at the same time if you wish.....
