Just bought the Ducati MTS 1200 panniers and looking either at some Ducati original equipment liners, but not sure how much they are? or found these on ebay - any experience with either guys? PANNIER LINER BAGS FOR DUCATI MULTISTRADA 1200 | eBay Thanks in advance. Neil.
I have the eBay ones. For the price, they do what it says on the tin and will expand if you have the wide load pannier lilids downside, there is no cutout at the back so a tad fiddly till you get used to it for the exhaust side one. We used them on our Euro trip and it was much better not having to carry mucky panniers in and out of hotels etc. I paid I think, £26 for mine on a best offer.......
yes i think they are ok. Craggy a friend on this forum bought them a few weeks ago. i think they did the job. pm him im sure he wouldnt mind if the old bugger can work the computer.
Hi Neil, I have a pair of proper Ducati pannier liners still packaged (Ducati part no:96791210B) Due to confusion when I originally bought my Multistrada 1200ST in 2011 I managed to buy 2 sets of pannier liners. One set has gone with my now sold Multistrada but I still have another pair that I have now no use for.PM me if you are interested. Richard
I have similar ones i got from ebay, they are pretty good, you can expand the full size pannier side so it takes up some space in the std lid, as Rushjob says mine dont match the shape on the exhaust side, do ducati ones ??? but found it useful just to pack stuff behind it in the gap.
Bought some of these the other week o ebay had a bid of £32 accepted. Price seemed good value so worth a punt. not arrived as yet mailed them at the weekend they are going to send another set out recorded delivery.
They are extremely well made cheaper alternatives to the Ducati bags. The stitching is strong as are the straps and buckles. Recently used mine for me and the other half for a long weekend in France. Both bags were full and I didn't experience any issues with rh pannier exhaust cut out. Just remember to pack the larger bulkier items into the left hand pannier. IMHO a great buy
Thanks for the advice guys, looks like the ebay ones are a viable alternative. Richard you have PM...
