1199 Ducati Tail Tidy Ed To My 1199s

  1. Have a Ducati Tail tidy fitted to my 1199s, for about 18 months.
    Riding out at the weekend and one of my friends commented that my number plate was flapping a bit, after closer inspection I noticed the tail tidy had cracked on both sides.
    Not very cheap these, anyone had this problem and got a replacement one foc ?
    Although its been on the bike for 18 months, would not expect it to crack like that.

  5. Actually on second thoughts I'll retract my earlier request. I don't think I want to see your tail no matter how tidy it may be and especially if it's cracking up and about to drop off!

  6. Yes, I had the identical problem. Ducati Coventry replaced it FOC. I believe it was still under manufacturers warranty at the time and it had been fitted by the Coventry guys from new.
