  1. Ducati are testing at mugello this week with NH and VR.
I just read one of troy bayliss's tweets and he's going too........ testing the panigale wsb ?

  2. Will they be testing the less aggressive engine setup?

  3. Bayliss toys for Mugello

  4. I would love to see Nicky and Vale take them out for a spin

  5. Vid footage of today. Is it just me or does Rossi look a bit more comfortable on the bike all of a sudden?

  6. trouble is, in isolation its easy to look comfortable....until we know how hard he was pushing, and lap time relative to the competition.....its impossible to tell if he's comfortable because he isnt quick, or comfortable AND quick.....

  7. Positive day going forward according to tweets from the ducati team who use it :upyeah:
I doudt lap times will be released ?

  8. I think that duke rossi is testing in the vid sounds very different to the one he raced on sunday ? More of a raspy sound ?

  9. We hit the track after lunch when it dried out. JB cracked the whip on us & we managed to get the whole days planed test done in 1/2 a day

Alex Briggs@Alex__BriggsI can't tell you exactly what we did. But its been good. Some stuff not what we need, but we also tested something that made us smile.

Alex Briggs@Alex__BriggsBest thing is that we found a setting that worked well quickly. This means our base from portugal is solid. Now used at 3 tracks + or -

  10. I saw motogp at Le Mans and love the sound of those Hondas (sorry Steve) they sounded so sharp like they were cutting through steel with a million hacksaws, V5 configuration being the cause i spose.

  11. I think only 4's are allowed Pete ?

  12. Correct, the original Honda 990's were a V5, the present 1000's a V4.....

  13. Any news from today?

  14. Good days testing.... New engines, new alloy swingarm, new electronics (controls throttle/fueling instead of ignition)

Yamaha used it first before honda pouched the tech guys from yamaha in 2010 .......... or JB takes it to ducati......................

Looks like Ducati are now fully behind the team and what they want!

None of it will be used untill silverstone when they can rotate engines (rules)

  15. so true - bar being observed by a long-time race addict at his local track, sometimes you just can't tell.

  16. Will be so good to see some improvement in the dry conditions. Fingers crossed, Silverstone could be a great motoGP

  17. And

Alex Briggs@Alex__BriggsBack in the my room now. I've done lots of tests, I've been to crap ones and I've been to good ones. This was a good one!

    Alex Briggs@Alex__Briggs
At tests like these u test things that if good can be used immediately. You test ideas 2 see if they have merit to continue working on...

    Alex Briggs@Alex__Briggs
You also test things that help designers and engeneers decide on a path to take for further development

    Alex Briggs@Alex__Briggs
This test we did all of thoes things & so will try part of what we tested immediately at barcelona, other thing have a longer lead time.

Alex Briggs@Alex__BriggsNext question will be how good was what u tested ect. I think we have made good quality steps in each outing since Jerez. This was the same.
