Mine has gone missing as the bike went thorough several different hands and I haven't come across any specific 749/999 toolkit on fleaBay. Were there any other bikes in the Ducati line-up that are a direct match in terms of toolkit ?

Can't help with any direct match ups but I just purchased an s4rs, had it up on the bench to go over it and to my surprise the original kit was still there and looked as though it had never been opened. It contained a spark plug spanner and a screwdriver, that's it.
they were a pain as I seem to remember they were connected to the inside of the fairing with Velcro.. and had a habit of falling off or sliding down towards the exhaust.. I may have a few in the garage in a box somewhere
Thanks for the replies everyone! I thought the original toolkit also had the tool for adjusting the headstock angle but I might be wrong. I've seen quite a few basic toolkits (plug spanner, screwdriver, allen keys, etc) but wasn't sure they were the right thing.
