1199 Ducati "up-map"

Discussion in 'Panigale' started by Rob Jarvis, Jun 23, 2015.

  1. Is there anyway to check what map your 1199 is using without going to a dealer?

  2. When you switch the ignition on it will say either:

RACING which is end cans only.
    Or
RACING EVO which is full system.

If it doesn't say anything then there is no upmap installed.

  5. YEP, it says "RACING EVO" on start up, can someone tell me how the baffles are located, need to check if they have been fitted or not. cheeers

  6. The baffles come in two plastic bags and they are just short inserts for each outlet and held on with self-tappers by the looks of them. Mine are still nice and clean and shiny in their little bags..... where they will remain forever. I had the Termi's plus big-bore down pipes fitted from new. Ducati Coventry did a rolling-road test after it was fully Up-Mapped and it puts out 184 bhp at the back wheel..... that's near to 200 bhp at the crank. Well better than standard !

  7. Thanks, just ordered 2 baffles from a guy in the states, I need them to help me get through the noise tests on UK track days, I'm also running a full Termi' system with the latest up-map, and it's actually quieter than my mates who just has the Termi end can.

so just end cans are loader than full system. I'm planning on getting a dyno run soon to see BHP
