ingenius mad and bizzare i love it ........... but would there be too much stress on the one conrod for 4 pistons ? but smaller pistons ....might be around the same and where is the cambelt ? but love the fact that if that was parked with a bunch of other dukes you could almost not notice the engine due to the rest looking standard :Wacky:
I'm puzzled about the drawing...........where does the other con-rod fit......? The part that is most suspect for rapid wear or failure are the roller bearings on the outer piston jockey arms and the small ends at each end of it.............
No wonder it only produces a small amount of bhp . End pistons wont be contributing anything to the crankshaft . Probably .
