Ducati Wolverhampton

  1. Anyone else get a text from Ducati Wolves, re new pcp deals yesterday?

Wouldn't have minded but its the first and only contact I've had since I picked up my new bike from them 14 months ago.

No call to ask if I am enjoying my bike or wondering why I never came back for a first or second service?

Wonder what the priorities are here

Selling the PCP deal and making commission.........

  3. Most dealers are the same

  4. Sycamore call me following any visit with my bike and ask how I was treated and what they could of done better. Your also given the facility to rate the technician who worked on your bike.

  5. I had an interesting conversation with them yesterday where i enquired about a test ride and was advised to try another dealer!!

Glad they are so busy as to turn potential customers away that easily!

  7. I was just taken aback that either they didn't want my potential sale or they assumed i would try elsewhere and then come back.

Regardless i think it's fair to say i wont be spending £15k on a MTS1200 there anytime soon.

  8. Duke, I assume you've seen the pikes peak for sale? Cracking looking bike with loads of extras!

  9. I hadn't but have now. Where is Boomer based to see if it's worth going for a look?

  10. I got my 848 from them. Had no problems , and everything done as promised. Never got a call though , but did get the pcp deals via text ...... 5 times.

  11. Just picked up my new 848 from them. No problems at all. Very helpful. Resolved an issue with the bike within the day.

  12. Bought a new 696 from wolverhampton a while ago and had to take it back only a week later with oil leaking from the LHS crankcase. Tony (the boss) walked past while a mechanic was trying to see where it was leaking from and didn't even speak to me! Apart from the PCP texts that we've all recently had never heard a word from them since. The bike gets serviced by Tim Hyett at Moto-vation near Cheltenham who is simply amazing. Full annual service with all fluids changed and a complete comprehensive check over for £118.90. Some main dealers change that for an hours labour!

  13. I've bought 2 bikes off Tony at Wolverhampton,my 848 Evo & I've recently changed it for a panigale tricolour.
I find them very helpful & very friendly. Scott the mechanic & Tony will always have a chat & give any advice I require.
Dawn, (Tonys wife) and Charlotte who runs the shop upstairs likewise are very friendly and helpful and as long as
they're not too busy will always offer a cup of coffee!!
As for the texts, yes I had a couple! But that is they're buisiness they sell bikes.
and as far as I'm concerned they've provided a very good aftersales service aswell.

  14. Fair enough, you can only speak as you find and I agree that Scott is a top bloke.

  15. Look at it like this... only 10 mins from JHP :upyeah:

  16. When I was looking for a Diavel Red, I e:mailed Ducati UK for a list of dealers with one in stock. I then e:mailed the dealers within reasonable distance requesting a quote for the bike plus accessories (I even listed part numbers).

Two of the dealers never responded. Ducati Coventry e:mailed thanking me for my interest and suggesting if I was ever in the area, I should pop in to see them.

Dawn at Ducati Wolverhampton e:mailed me on Bank Holiday Monday (I sent all of my messages on the Sunday before) thanking me for my enquiry and promising she would respond in full the next day. When I got home from work the next day, there was a detailed quote and a "deal" offered that I was happy with.

All of my experience with Dawn, Tony, Charlie et al have been excellent. I even received a Christmas card from them.

I always treat people how I wish to be treated. It seems to work in most walks of life. It certainly worked with Ducati Wolverhampton.

I respect that others may have had different experiences, but I can only speak as I find.
