Hi all, This has probably been covered to death but just wanted to clarify a few things about this DVT airbox mod by fitting the parts from the 2017 model. As the bike is currently in bits I thought it maybe worth doing. The American MS forum also suggests fitting another cover, part 34 48610992A on the diagram. The info I have found on this forum does not mention this part. Is it not really necessary?

I did this mod/upgrade on a 2015 DVT. I didn't notice any difference in the bike. I installed a K&N filter at the same time.
I’ve ordered the parts and still waiting for them to turn up. Thought I may as well as the bike is in bits.
