Can anyone explain why Dzus fasteners are so expensive? No matter how many year pass and how many time's I look at the price, I just can bring myself to paying as much for 1 fastener than I could get a bunch of titanium bolts and have them shipped from China for. Yes, I know China titanium probably ain't great but just using as an example.
Would you really want to make your fairings so easy to remove? On a track bike I can understand it, but on a streetbike you're asking for them to get nicked.
I hear what you're saying, but then if you carry on with that way of thinking you get to the point of, why have a UK road bike that does more than 70mph. I've heard of spring fit exhausts go missing too now you mention it though. Them bikers just can't be trusted
On a positive note, I've been looking for fairing screws for my SV650. Pro-bolt wanted the best part of £40 for a set, Suzuki even more. In the end I went to screwfix, and for £15 I've got enough to fix about ten fairings!
Erm... Yep About the cheapest I've seen them. Top man Fagaro. Still to dear though when I could just take a 2nd hand bike for a test ride
