early morning is the best time of the day to be out on the bike. Do you get to go on the bike? Did you do all motorway or pick out some more interesting roads ?
No traffic at that time in the morning, plus the Police tend to blind-eye any "making progress" :biggrin:
Tomorrow I've got a round trip to Gatwick to pick up mother-in-laws mate from Oz. about 6 hours driving, provided there's no hold ups, plus about an hour waiting at the airport for her to get through customs/baggage reclaim etc! Fun, fun, fun!!
Well I left home on time at 4.30am. Got to Swindon (Oasis) at 7.30am ready for my 8.30am meeting. The twat didn't turn up till 10.30am with apologies because "the traffic from Bournemouth was murder" How I didn't punch the bastard I'll never know, but I laid it on with a trowel (several times!) that some of us left the house at stupid o'clock to get there on time.
Some folks just leave you wondering don't they!! I just hope the flight I'm due to meet tomorrow is on time, a feisty Oz female who's pissed off with the airline isn't going to make for a nice journey home!!!
In which case he's also entitled to be late :wink: Lost count of the number of times over the years I've got 200 miles into a journey to get 'i'm sick' or the kids are so wont be around to meet....feel ya pain
