We all know the traps for buyers but after scores of sales with no issue I just had the run-around Buyer - Hi I am bidding on several of you items can I get a discount if I win Johnny- Difficult because they are all shapes and sizes but I shall try Buyer- Wins one item another in the lead – (only bid silly prices on other stuff) Johnny – I shall send this Wednesday Buyer- Er What I paid for this Sunday it should be here on Friday Johnny –PO not open Sunday or Monday, I can’t get there today - I shall send tomorrow as per listing Buyer – Well If I win the other item will you send that with it tomorrow Johnny –Err first you want it sent today now tomorrow –Do you want a refund? Buyer – Tomorrow is ok can you do combined Johnny- No they are already packed – Unless 100% satisfied I shall refund you Buyer- Yes please refund He is still winning on the second item and I am dreading that as he has over bid
Can’t say for certain Johnny because I wasn’t there but you were real quick to offer a refund. Did you just get a bad vibe from the guy because most people would ask for a discount if they buy multiple items and you can post them together?
I did get that vibe, i did offer a discount but TBH by the time we had got down to brass tacts he had complained why I had not sent it then wanted it held then wanted it combined. It was the sarcasm when i did not send on the very next working day that pissed me off He won the last item so i am just waiting for that to be wrong. He overpaid IMHO
