Has anyone had these or similar before? http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=261311465477 My oem ones look terrible now and I need to replace them ideally, but don't want to spend over £200 on a set. Ta.
my mate has a set on his honda trackbike. they've survived a crash ok. they don't look great though and is it worth bolting tat onto a Duke? take a looky at these REARSETS 749-999 - REAR SETS - CHASSIS & SUSPENSION - Podium Racing - Performance Ducati Parts and Accessories or push the boat out a bit... Those are just some Chinese rearsets sold under Podium Racing's name. CNC Ducati 749 999 Rearsets Rear Set Foot Pegs | eBay I have a set of those and the quality and fitment is good. I'm selling them so Pavey, if you are interested, send me a message.
The Chinese ones aren't that bad for the money. I've some on my race bike. The only thing is the nuts and bolts - I think they are made of liquorice! So change them and they are perfectly good.
I had some Chinese ones for my old Honda. One side was perfectly fine and the other side was poorly made so the pegs and whole unit moved around all over the place. The bolts are made of cheese so the extra pressure from the parts moving around probably would have bent or broken the bolts eventually. That seems to be the main problem with Chinese stuff, get a good set and all is dandy, get a bad batch and the price means there's not much point trying to return it.
Pevey did you buy any rearsets? I have a set of valter moto ones for sale if interested? Have a look at them on for sale board.

I bought some gorilla zilla ones. Cheap and not pretty but I'm sick of replacing nice ones whenever I fall off. I guess the trick is to not fall off.
If you don't crash every once in a while your not trying hard enough so hats off to you for being brave.
I run those on my 749. Great value, decent quality. I think I had to space mine off the frame with a spacer. But perfect for my tracking toy when it's skating down the circuit on its side.
