Maybe we can make this thread a sticky (if there isn't one already - please move this if there is, thanks!). This seller is advertising complete 1098R heads for 2000 euros but they are not what they seem; these heads have standard 1098 camshafts - which can be bought for around £200. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DUCATI-10...837880?hash=item3d44d559b8:g:A2AAAOSw0hlZG0nC Not to mention they appear to have way more than 5000Km on them...
Here's a pile of junk ready for the scrap bin being sold as parts: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DUCATI-90...sh=item3f84b3d80f:g:uGcAAOSwIMdZlbI0#viTabs_0
Makes me laugh from time to time when certain models get advertised in the region of £4-5k less than what they are actually worth, and asking not to contact through eBay but on a personal email. Do people actually fall for this crap ?
Sadly there is one born every minute and people continue to be taken in by a whole raft of dodgy deals that they are convinced they are getting the deal of the century. Andy
It only takes one or two to fall for it, then the scammers quids in. They tend to give themselves away, however, by claiming that PayPal will act as an escrow account. (PayPal won't touch motor vehicle transaction claims)
