I was perusing ebay last night looking for shiny things to stick on my bike when I came across some termi's for the 1199 and got quite excited. I was just about to down grade this years holiday fund from a sun kissed beach to a wet weekend in a caravan by hitting the buy it now button and not bother waiting to bid. The end cans were £900 and then there were two full systems for £1500 a throw, all brand new!. When I investigated further is turns out they are all for sale by what appears to be three separate sellers who only registered on the 1st Sep, have no feedback, but it's blatantly obvious from the names of the three sellers that they are one of the same (jay6835, johnd6835 and thomas6835) and they're from different locations (Edinburgh, Manchester and Sheffield). Now I might just be being a cynic here but it sounds a bit suspect. I would imagine some people on here may have seen them or have even bid on them, I'm just giving a heads up shout to make anybody interested aware as it's a lot of money, so do your homework. Or if you're the person selling them and you're on here let us know as I might put a cheeky bid on myself!. Cheers and Goodluck. Jason.
wow, good spot and thanks. Could absolutely be a scam but could also be legit (as in you would get the goods, not necessarily a legit source). I think a buyer is fully protected by EBAY to get the goods or a full refund, but well worth some more investigation first.
