eccentric clutch

  1. hey all

after having my bearing collapse on the pushrod i had it all replaced at the motorapido in winchester asked them to check the clutch was fine, all good i was assured. 50 miles later all is not good. New pushrod heavily scored, pushrod seal leaking and clutch now running eccentric.

Any ideas what parts / where i should start. Could it be something as simple as the bearing or could it be the hub or what ????

    Thanks

  2. First thing I would do would be to get back on the phone to Motorapido, 50 miles for the same issue...

Well the pushrod bearing is at the further point so unless the clutch itself is loose or worse bearings behind the clutch/within the crank case you're just going to have the same issue by replacing the same bearing.

Have you checked the pushrod? Is that bent or snapped (which can happen)?

  3. as above back to Rapido pronto

  4. I would agree for the mileage covered back to M/rapido, but i would check the clutch hub nut is tight first if you intend on riding it back ?
