848 Ecu Code On Termis

Discussion in '848 / 1098 / 1198' started by Nwsparky, Mar 10, 2015.

  1. I've found a possible set of Termis and ecu, can I check that the ecu is right for a non evo from its part numbers?

  2. Yes you can. Its also worth asking what bike it was last fitted to as the Ecu may been remapped.

  3. It's a parts dealer, I have the codes where can I check them for compatability?

  4. Post the Ecu part number on this thread, someone will be able to advise you from that. If its not the correct Ecu, it shouldn't be a deal breaker as you can always remap with correct map for your set up.

  5. Thanks, here ya go...

  6. Need the number on the other side... the one that ends in "B" that can be just spied in your picture

  7. This one ?

  8. Hi mate. Make sure the link pipes are non evo as well or you'll have to cut off and re weld the spring lugs on either the link pipes or mid pipes.

  9. Thanks I will check..

  10. That part number is for the 1098 Termi silencer kit.

  11. Is that end of the line then nelly not compatible?

  12. No. The ECU can be reflashed with the correct map. The hardware is the same, it's just software that differs.

  13. Can that be done by sending it to a programmer? Any idea of costs, cans are mint and good price but no returns with any of the gear, is the 1098 ecu saleable?
Sorry for being a mithering gitt!

  14. I might be mistaken but I think the only difference in the link pipe is the spring lugs to the cans between slash cut and older style not the lugs to the mid section irrespective whether it's an Evo, non-evo or even 1*98 ?!

  15. that's right. i altered the lugs on my midpipes as i had a spare set from a de valved evo. in other words, i could put my original midpipes back on or sell the termis with link pipes, if i ever needed to return it back to standard.

  16. Midpipe lugs are different therefore link pipes as well between the evo and non evo.

The ones on the left are from an evo.

  17. Right the cans and link pipes are from a 1098s 2009, will they actually fit my non evo 848, I could look at the ecu seperately...

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  18. Will they fit mine?? I'll ask them if they're doing any 848 offers..
    Thanks for the heads up:upyeah:

  19. The cans will fit,the ecu should be able to be reflashed, also not sure on the spring lugs.
