Hi Guys. Anyone got a list of fault codes on the 1200s ? Finally managed to get connected use MelcoDiag tonight. A few old stored codes cleared but 2 persistent ones staying. ( DSS ) 502B - Status 68 502C - Status 62
Think these are speed sensor related. P0502 and P0503. Check the sensor for metal debris on it. Clean off.
Tried that already Chris hence going down the diagnostics check. Just checked again. It’s actually both 502B & 502C but did say default. There were a few historic ones too. But the main issue is the DSS Errors on the dash. Next step might need to be replace them all. I’m not sure what resistance they should be giving out.
Read this - same issue and solution at Post 10 https://www.ducati.ms/forums/203-su...2401-dss-ducati-skyhook-suspension-error.html
Cheers Chris. I think I’m going to order up both front and rear cables. Means I can bench test the old ones. I’ve had the rear one replaced twice under warranty before. Hence thinking surely not !! First time for the front. But could be the rear is throwing up both errors now. Thanks for the pointing me back in that direction.
Hey all. Finally got round to fixing it all up. So for future if it helps anyone using search. Rear Accelorometer 502b &/or 502c Front Accelorometer 5028 &/or 5029 Body Accelorometer 502e &/or 502f (Thanks to Chris & Ducati MS for confirming these, I also done these tests with melcodiag.) Not sure why there is a price difference between the sensors. The rear is around £40 & front is around £120. Both near identical except for cable length and rear has a out protection sleeve that does nothing. Pics of the damaged sensor attached. Could feel where the issue was with your fingers as there was a very slight bump.
Hi guys, I am new here hope I can get some help. My engine light is constantly on and I get the attached error from Melcodiag, it clears the error but engine light still stays on. Can anyone tell me what those error codes mean ??
Had a look around for you and I cannot find anything either. Would be good to know what these are though once you do figure it out. Only other way would be trying all sensors 1by1 to see and then reset codes
