Ecu mapping options

  1. My 1100s is quite awkward to ride on a steady throttle. I guess this because of the sc project cans , making its fuelling all over the place.

What are the current options in regards to getting it sorted?

Dont wanna spend £600 on a re map.

I also need to put it back to standard for when I sell. Isit best to find a spare ecu on eBay? How much is usual rate for one?

    Cheers

  2. Spare ecu would still be square one Damon. Three options......remap, power commander similar costs. Third option is not a remap but O2 optimisers. Only work on bottom end, but do improve things a little. Cheaper though at £100 ish. Plug in so no permanent changes made.

  3. Haha that's twice ive been called Damon in last week. It's Dom. Lol. Its bottom end where it's lumpy so maybe O2 optimisers is a way to go. Is there any downsides at all?

  4. OOps....it's an age thing mate. it'll happen to you to......
No real downsides to be fair. Not a dramatic effect but a noticeable one. I run them on my bike...a bit smoother and reduces the backfires on overrun. To be fair, the level of improvement will be relevant to the £'s spent, but for £100 or so i was happy with the O2 optimisers.

  5. We provide a simple flash for the monster and hyper with siemens ecu. It elininates the o2 sensors , ex valve and adds enrichment in the needed zones. Its not as good as a full custom tune but it works as the cheaper option

  6. What sort of money is it mate?
