  1. Hi guys , need to get my 1198s ecu remapped for 70mm Termignoni system + switch off power valve and switch on quick shifter , what's my easiest / cheapest options , I'm in Swindon area if that makes any difference , I know moto rapido are near but looks a expensive option.
    Regards Matt

  2. Hi Mat, i did exactly what you are doing to my 1198p, i used moto rapido and totally recommend them, speak to the guy in parts very helpful and knowledgable. It will totally transform the way your bike runs not to mention the power gains.

  3. From Swindon I would go to CJS as I think he is in Bristol. I used MotoRapido on my 848 and they did a good job but was £270 or something and then when I enquired about putting it back to stock they wanted to charge me just as much, which I thought was a bit cheeky

  4. Hi thanks for the reply, Out of interest what was the cost ?

  5. Thanks for that I'll check him out , I've got a spare std ecu to avoid just that in the future

  6. Good shout! They just put a 'superstock' map on mine which turned off lambda etc and was a massive improvement, certainly a noticeable boost in power (he reckoned 5hp from idle up) but I think I should have spent a touch more and got a per cylinder map done on the dyno by CJS

  7. aprox £1100 for the flash remap and 70mm manifold, i already had the end cans, there is a guy on here selling a manifold new £800, ducatidude1098r.

  8. Thanks , I've got the full system ready to fit , I'm trying to source the traction control unit and front speed sensor , once I've got that and had the ecu sorted I'll fit it over the winter along with some upgraded suspension

  9. If u have 'custom' features or things that are locked and need unlocking, I would definitely go with CJS

  10.
  11. traction control is the way ahead, mines set on 5, you can see it working all of the time if you ride hard, it does look after you especially in cold or damp conditions and cold tyres etc. get a quick shifter if you can.

  12. Much approached guys thanks
