Hi all, Whilst trawling through my garage today I came across this. Could anyone shed some light on it? I know its an ECU from a 999 but what if any gains this would have? TA Steve
999 pre 2004 DP 54mm pipes (IAW59M) could also be a virgin ECU as the DP ones were not usually coded to the bike.
Is it the ECU that came with the 2005+ 999 that came with a boxed Termi system as part of the package (something that loyal 2003 999S owners weren't treated to)?
I can vaguely remember I bought from fleabay back in around 2003 ish but never used it. I forgot I had it until today.
Post 2004 the 749/999 used the IAW5AM ECU. Put 979000167 in here https://jpdiag.akress.com/modelselect.php I have this ECU installed in my 2003 999.
