http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DUCATI-10...pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts_13&hash=item2c74962c98 £26.00?! :Hilarious:
If that's a reflection of what oem parts go for i'm gonna go strip the multi n flog it... This time next year i'll be a millionaire...
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Arai-Cors...?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Helmets&hash=item1c3e8eaaca My personal fave of the night! £775.00 for a 7 year old 'brand new' helmet that if you are in your right mind you would not wear on the road. Christ, the TT2014 Lid is 'only' £750.00. Maybe someone would pay 3/400 for it as a collectable to sit on a stand but.......
I flogged my centenary lid for what I paid for it a year after buying it as I couldn't bring myself to wear it. Not because of any sentimental value but because I thought the design was shit!
I'll be cutting off two multi grips soon so will be up for sale. Because they'll actually be cut in an artistic way I feel they'll have more value so perhaps list them at £60?
Typical eBay breaker etc. Think of a number and double it because it's a Ducati. Many parts are mis described as well. I see loads of parts saying they will fit say a 998 when in fact they won't for example, I challenged one breaker who said a 748R airbox would fit a stock 748/9**, I got a shirty reply back from him and when I pointed out it was his reputation he was damaging and his potential feedback not mine he changed the listing, he didn't thank me for it though. I never understand why people don't check with a dealer first before they even think of buying a part. I also wonder how many returns these people get when they find a part won't fit. Here's another one from the same dealer, overpriced DUCATI 748 916 996 INJECTORS | eBay Everyone else is asking a lot less. I bought a perfect set recently for £10.50.
The 1098 motor they have has been for sale for over 2 years. Doesn't it make sense to see what the market price is for things prior to selling? Waste of money to keep re-listing items that ; 1/Are not selling 2/50%+ over market price.
I bought the grips he did me a special deal £26.00 for one or £60 for the pair ............i just went for it ......
