1200 DVT Emm 2018

  1. Just back from this year's EMM to the French Alps. As always it was a great event, we went down via Germany, the Voges and Jura mountains. We had two very long days riding in France, Italy and Switzerland (10hrs riding a day, probably a bit too much). The company was brilliant as always, great organisation and some stunning roads to ride (an a few dodgy narrow, gravel covered ones). Over 25 multistrada's of all ages and shapes, from classics to 1260's. If you've ever thought about going it's really worth it, get yourself on-board next year.

One my way home I was riding solo, I was going to split the day in two and stop overnight in Troyes. I went back up through the Jura and over to Dijon, but as I was there by 2:30 I decided to press on and ride all the way home (albeit autoroute bashing). 620 miles door to door in 12 hrs was achieved without too many aches and pains. They really are a great bike.
