Wanted for 2013 Multistrada. Any one have an endcan that they would be willing to part with? Akro/Termi would be stunning.....but will consider anything Don't like the standard fitment whisper boxes. Please PM with price, shipping and whatever you have that will fit and look reasonable, and wont require fettling. Many thanks Ian
I presume you're aware that any end can will be a whisper box unless you get rid of the cat too, the standard end can / termi stubby make no difference other than cosmetic. Best to get a full system and get it tuned at CJS. Just wish I had the funds to follow my own advice!
Moley, If you remove those can things it'll still be dull as rivet said. You really need to decat it for it to sound any better. There are many out there that will do what you want, some at a good price, some not. I have decided on an spengineering one. Still not fitted it mind you, as I'm still awaiting delivery of the decat. When I get it, I'm under no illusions that it will be a simple 10 minute job. I will need to make my own hanger for the can etc.. I don't even know if it will all fit! Things to consider; 1. Will the new can remove the exhaust valve, if yes, you have some work to do to mimic the valve 2. Will the can need a hanger 3. Will you tell your insurer Good luck on your decision process. Ah, now that's starting to sound expensive!!.... Bugger. On the GSA it was straightforward enough to swap cans, then disconnect the cables from the zorst valve( it defaults to open). I take it life ain't that simple on the strada..... I am happy enough to fit the mivv decat pipe, I will have a chat with a spannerman at riders on Saturday when I pick it up, and see how potentially complex this is going to be.... A full termi is out of the question for me at the moment on the basis of cost. Damn, and a side order of damn!
Not as expensive as it may seem :wink: For what I have chosen, it comes to the princely sum of £270 for can and decat. I got some springs to go over the cable when it comes off the exhaust valve. Big outlay will be the remap
Thats a good price, i had looked at a GPR one, that was around £500. Looks like its a new one, as website does not list anything let
