how much difference is there between an end can and the standard pipe noise wise? I don't want to decat as my last bike was way too loud after decat.
My set up is the Termi stubby end can, exhaust eliminator and I have de catted the original exhaust. It’s a nice compromise as it’s not to loud but is louder than stock and for me fuelling is perfect. There is a video and some pics on here by Big Al if you want to know more.

I have a termi end can from My old twin spark fitted - if it is actually louder or not is almost impossible to say (I didn’t measure it) but it sounds slightly deeper to my ears...I could probably be convinced it was no different, but the orig pipe had scratches when I bought the bike so I was changing it anyway (Edit: it’s also a lot lighter although I’m not a weight fanatic). If it’s just louder your after - I am not sure you’ll get there - maybe if it’s a lot shorter?
Try taking the end can off and starting it up. That will give you some idea of the potential increase in noise?
