End of Radical Ducati..?

  1. I noticed a mention in this weeks MCN, not had time to do much research and i haven't seen anything on the forum. Shame though if it's true.

  2. Don't worry. MCN don't do much research anyway

  3. Don`t personally see how there should be much of a market to alter bikes that are (mostly) so beautiful to start with. Now, Radical Yamaha or Suzuki I could understand!

  4. Radical do or did a Radical dirt bike , I don't know if they've carried on with other non Ducati projects or have they completely folded.

  5. Unfortunately there isn't much of a market for custom built bikes, especially in a country in such economic problems as Spain. I dare say that if Radical were based in the UK, France or Germany they would still be going.

I agree Ducatis are in the most part beautiful bikes to start with but they offer something that other manufacturers dont, the old school trellis frames and relatively simple engines lend themselves to custom building very well. Some people love their bikes completely standard, some like to personalise them with bolt on accessories while some of us want to build something unique.
