I have tried to find cheap SKF bearings for the RHS crankcase, awaiting a new left so dont know part nos yet. Im looking for 2nu03EC 6305TN97C3 RNU202ECP And the main RHP bearing 7307X2TB Does anyone have any suggestions for where I can get these other than Ducati, it appears they may have been discontinued as I can only find the RNU202 roller bearing for just under £30. Stiene Dinse dont even seem to do them any cheaper than what Ducati main dealer would be?
I've looked around in the past with little luck. Especially the mains... A local bearing supplier quoted double the Ducati price! The mains have a odd contact angle, so if you find some, make sure the numbers match exactly!
I think these are the first, second and third in your list........... I think your first one reference number may be jumbled a bit. Note that your '7' may be a forward slash..........If you search Simply Bearings for the exact refernce you have given, there is a number of variations, one of which has the slash, but no 7. Al, you are a legend, that does seem to be those three, I may have written the number down wrong as the bearings have dirt on them. From what I understand the mains may have to come from Ducati.
Is this any help? Ducati Mains Bearings or this? At least you can see what else they fit. Wow, that last one seems too good to be true, gonna call them tomorrow just to make sure. As you have posted they appear to be 80£ a side normally!
When I search for bearings, I never go to bearing suppliers websites first.........I always Google just the reference number only and see what gets thrown up............it sometimes works well for other parts too......
Well it was too good to be true. They havent stocked them in years and cant change their website as its had a virus since about 2007 so its not been touched since then. Oh well the hunt continues
Ducati priced the main bearings for me, 80 and 72 pounds approx. Not too bad I thought. Will keep hunting to see if I can source cheaper.
quite a big suppler of various bearings. I've used the bristol warehouse for wheel bearings- may be worth call. its a big place... Welcome to Bearing Warehouse
Just reading the post thru again... you say you're waiting on a new left case? The cases are machined/supplied in matched pairs and shouldn't really be mixed up. The bearing housings are all line bored to ensure the shafts all run true.
