Sure I have read a few posts regarding this before but not able to spot them. While changing down pulling up to a junction as I went from 3rd to 2nd and dropped the revs the bike just completely cut out a moment ago, didn't even want to "bump start" as I put it down to second and let out the clutch which was a bit odd. Is it time to look at a remap to cure it? If so are these detectable and undoable? Bike is on PCP with warranty on top and don't want to really compromise that. Edit: Should add its a 2012 - just checked on a recall and appears to pre-date my bike, not the first time it has happened and put previous occasions down to it just being cold but this was after quite a ride and bike was well up to temp.
yes I have had this problem, some others have posted it here 1200 - Random Engine Cut Out At Low Speed | Ducati Forum
Cheers MadProff, was hoping it wasn't a case of "untraceable intermittent fault" which are a pain in the rear to find and for us owners with back and forth to the dealers. Will give the dealer a bell Monday and see if they have any possible fixes, don't really want to go through messing about with time off work dropping in the bike (though will see if they will give me a loaner)
