Hi all, My 2014 hypermotard 821 keeps popping up with an engine management warning and shows ‘errors’ on the dash. It soon clears and nothing seems to happen but as the fault clears I can’t see whatvthe fault or code is. Once when I did catch it it just said #engine. It seems to be doing it frequently and dont have Ducati centre near me to plug it in to. Was wondering if anyone had any ideas? I thought maybe a lambda sensor as the bike hasn’t been ridden much since Sept but has been in a dry garage, bike is clean and only done 6k, but after. 60mile round trip the light must have been on and off about 30 times... Anyone know what I can check? Many Thanks Jason
Quick update on this for anyone interested: Took the bike to a local Ducati service centre and they found 3 stored errors codes: APS signal improbable: so they reset this Front wheel speed sensor: these are magnetic, so they cleaned the sensor Battery Voltage Low: so they charged the battery All seems fine now and cost me £90, which i am happy with!
Ha Ha! it wasn't quite the local Ducati Dealer but was a local Ducati specialist who has all the equipment and specialises in Duacti's: https://md-racing.co.uk/ They are based in Walton Upon Thames, but were great value
