Engine oil

  1. I know there is a thread focused on group buy and what have you, but I need to change mine soon, I've done 3,600 miles since I got the bike a couple of months ago.

    I'm thinking either Mobil 1 4T 15W50 Fully Synthetic - http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00307JZD8/?tag=ducatiforum-21

    Any suggestions or input?

  2. The Mobil is a good oil. Make sure it's the bike specific one as per your link and you'll be sorted

    M+p are offering a free filter as well.

  5. I'm a bit anal about oil (... Pun?), I'd rather have the best I can considering the long miles I will be doing on one cycle. As said, in just over 2 months I've managed over 3,500 miles...

  8. I wouldn't worry too much about the oil, it seems that the owners are more fragile.

  11. 300v, on all my bikes, never had any problems, I change my oil every 3 ,months regardless
