  1. Oh Dear!.... Out today on my panni 1199S and the orange and red engine warning lights came on! bike still ran okay to get me home and doesn't sound mechanical, Engine oil pressure light didn't come on. Any thoughts before booking it in to main dealers?

  2. Best thing to do is take it to a dealer so they can plug diagnostics machine is as it could be number of things.

Had mine come on earlier this year and turned out to be MAF sensor was faulty.

  3. Same thing happened to mine, turned out a wire had come out of the back or some secondary sensor.

  4. Thanks guys its not like the old days where you can tinker!.... Riders of Bristol it is then!

  5. When mine went i had just fitted my GB racing covers and thought i may have caught something. Spent ages checking connections but in the end without knowing exactly what it is was there was not way to tell without plugging it into a machine.

  6. Just went into the garage just to see if i could spot anything obvious, started the bike up and no lights!!!! went out on her for a 30 minute blast and everything is good!!!! I think i'll still get it plugged in though as surly it will record the fault! Is this something that can clear itself ?

  7. I recently had a scenario of light on and off for a while, it ended up being the quickshifter detector which was then replaced and spot on since.

Think the IMU flagged up an error too which they were re setting in conjunction with the problem.

I'd definitely just get it plugged in to be certain and know what it is

I had also ridden 100miles in biblical rain which may have played a part.

Hopefully a quick checks and clear on the ecu
