Hi everyone, Newbie here, please allow me to introduce myself. I'm Alex, an Englishman living on an island in the north of Sweden, part of the beautiful High Coast. I recommend a tour, but maybe that's for another thread. I got back into motorcycling after a short 35 year break in early 2021 with a Honda CBR650. After re-acquainting myself with riding on the road for a season decided to try out the track with the CBR. There is a track 15 mins from where I live, so I joined the local roadracing club, got totally hooked and in a moment of madness(?) decided fiscal responsibility be damned and joined the Ducati gang late last summer when I bought a 2020 Panigale V2. Did several training sessions with the bike in standard form and even managed to get my roadracing license at the end of the season. I've spent the winter gathering bits and bobs to make the bike more track-ready for the 2022 season. I am now hitting a few issues and could do with some advice from the forum. My first question is, what's the best way to set about getting answers? One long thread with 10 questions or one question/subject at a time? I'm guessing the latter but would welcome any tips. Looking forward to being part of the community. Thanks, Alex
Its a small world. I moved back from Sweden to UK back in '19. I did a couple of seasons racing in the endurance cup. In my first season, one of my team mates was the hubby of your photographer. Enjoy the tracks over there. Its fantastic and generally far better run than the UK.
Thanks Glen - Small world indeed! Can't comment on how well things are run in the UK, new to the track world, but I've met a great bunch of people.
I'll prep some stuff and do a post in the not too distant... In the meantime, here's a link to the High Coast Tourist site that will give you a taste... https://www.hogakusten.com/en
