Hi all, Just been out and after a bit of bunny hopping engine management light came on, checked code and saying 1.2, on reading codes sats tps to earth. Does this mean a new sensor? if so do i need tps reset? I have been having running problems just waiting to get stuff done, if sensor needs replacing i'll take off the road and start an early winter strip down. thanks all.
It's warning you that it's getting no reading at all from the TPS - it is shorted to earth. This may be a genuine TPS fault (it's gone faulty) or it may be a wiring fault. You can unplug the TPS and use a multi-meter to check and see if it is ok, and decide from there.

thanks both, decided to investigate overheating issue and found oil rad caked up, so while I'm there i'll drop oil and change filter, do plugs, fuel filter and may change pump while its in bits. I'll check out tps when I find it, a couple of hundred quid spent and should be fine.
