I happen to agree with Pickle's criticism of the EA.........The EA is fundamentally an office full of so called experts who appear to have no common sense or experience of the practical side of land and water management............they rely on paper and computers. If they were experienced, they would have known the prolonged period of bad weather was going to cause severe problems and in conjunction with the weather experts, emergency measures could have been put in place and residents warned long before the current reactive measures which are effectively now too late.
