Help/advice needed Just went to start the bike to change oil and air filters and it would only start with clutch pulled in, started fine after engaging the clutch ran lovely and fired first time once clutch engaged. but 'always a but' the dreaded ECU light didn't go off:grimacing: Showing error code 36 speed sensor was fine before she was covered up snug for winter. Will this fix just require a new speed sensor or could it be worse . Any advice appreciated
I've had this. I removed the widget temporarily. and ended up "tapping" the sensor with a bit of wood. Seemed to work Hope yours isn't serious.
I've unplugged it and going clean contacts with electrical contact/switch cleaner then give it a little tap hope it works. Is it me or do others dread turning the key after rapping them up snug and warm for the winter. Last year the starter solenoid decided it has happy resting and stuck. but when summer comes its happy days
Well I gave it a tap with a magic piece of wood connected it back started her, put in gear no change, then rode the length of my drive and all working again. Happy days cheers Loz
