Discussion in 'Technical Help' started by higgy748, Jun 8, 2012.

  1. I have an 09 1098 showing error code immobiliser 37.5 Anybody know what that particular one is. Had to leave it at work cos my spare key and code card is at home 50 miles away so couldn't do anything to try and sort it. The aerial is still in place.

    Cheers Higgy

  3. I believe 37.5 is to do with the transponder or ariel.

Is the ariel loose under a carbon key guard?
Are you parked near a mobile mast? Sometimes hidden in petrol station signs.

  4. Thanks for the replies.
i have a standard plastic guard and the transponder is still in place.

I have a Blackberry in a case which has a magnet in it and I may have put the key and the case together The reason I think this may be a problem is i have put car park tickets in my top pocket with my phone and it has wiped them. i realise the key isn't a magnetic strip but it may have affected it.

  5. Hmmmm,

After you've tried the other key, if you don't have any luck PM Chrisw on here, he's a wizard with all things key and immo related.

  6. There have been instances of water getting under the antenna shroud and blocking the signal.

I'm still waiting for someone to post that they have had one of the two the 'TWAT' error codes (T.WAT 31. and T.WAT 3.2)

  8. I've seen a couple of failed antenae lately. Its a moulded plastic ring encasing the coil that reads/energises the chip in the key.Water has gotten in thru the moulding line and corroded the coil. It's an easy spot as you can the the green copper oxide around the flash line of the plastic.

  9. Did you get her home yet?

  10. Went to work this morning before I did anything put the normal key in NO FAULT!! started ok.

4 O'clock time to go home sun is shining and its warm get to the Humber bridge and it absolutely buckets down.
Had to stop for fuel so used the pay at pump and left the engine running used the spare key to open the tank. rode the 30 miles home through driving rain. Got out of my sodden things and then tried the bike again back to the fault.
I have found that if i lift the shroud up with the antenna still attached the fault goes. Looks like the antenna is faulty. Anybody know how much a new antenna is?

  15. What a nightmare...

Bike won't start... error code is show error pump 16.0... According to the list of codes in this thread, its showing Fuel pump Relay Error...

Will this be the case 100% or could it be a low battery.....

where will I find the relay to check it?

Any more ideas of what else could be causing this issue...

  16. Just for you Chris.... :upyeah:
