Essex Servicing

  1. I'm about to pick up a new toy (748) at the weekend but wondered if anyone can advise a decent mechanic for these bikes in Essex? As much a the guy I'm buying from seems sound I want the bike checked thoroughly by someone who knows what to look for etc. I'm dubious of main dealers as they tend to be fitters rather than mechanics.

  13. I asked in 'Technical Help' and beleive I have the issue sorted so you wernt wrong about the 'info' on here.

    Hopefully over the next couple of years I'll get the bike how I want it and with the people I've spoken to already I imagine I'll save a few quid getting there.

  16. Well "Dave" there is always Made in Italy Motorbikes here in Stowmarket, they come highly recomended. Will we be seeing you at the DOC meetings?? Bird in hand Earls Cone, second Sunday of the month 12ish

  18. I'm in Chelmsford too and Al does the valve service on my bikes, I do the rest of the servicing myself.
    If you ever need a hand with anything, give me a shout!
    You missed the local meet in the Angel last night, but it's every third monday of the month.
