  1. Hi. I'm looking at doing a euro trackday in November when I get back from Afgan. Any top tips? Looking for the place with the best weather so was thinking of southern spain? Good idea or no. Any advice appreciated.

    cheers

  2. Hi Matt. Southern Spain is a great place for TD's. FE do a really great job. Look at Cartagena, Almeria or maybe Alcarras. Also try Pacedayz who organise the BSB tests and also trackdays. Not been there with no limits so can't comment. They are awesome fun and 3/4 days in pretty much guaranteed sunshine is great for improving your riding. Good atmosphere too cos everyone has beers together in the evenings. Cracking value at £4-500 including bike transport and accommodation. See TrackDayRiders.co.uk The trackday riders place for really comprehensive advice, pics etc

  3. Cheers. Waiting to see what dates FE have. Done most of my UK track days with them, but missing this summer as I'm away so going to try and do a few in winter instead.

    Cheers

  4. Almeria and Cartagena are both very good value and fun circuits, i think Almeria is better for bigger bikes as the back startight is so long, and Cartagena is better for smaller bikes as its more twisty. u prob wont get a bigger bike out of third gear

Portimao in Portugal is also very very special, but does cost a bit more (its worth it though imho). fast and flowing with massive elevation changes. even though its quite a big circuit i have done this on an 800 air cooled monster a few times and absolutely loved it to bits

  5. Cheers. Portimao was on the list as well as cartagena. Whats going to dictate it most is the weather. Where's likely to be best that time of year?
