Hello Folks, Seems like quite a few of the usual insurance companies have pulled out of Euro trackday insurance. Obviously there are plenty of Euro trackdays still happening so which companies are people using and are there any horror stories or good experiences when trying to make a claim ? I have already tried PJ Hayman, Four Counties, Bemoto. Thanks for any information
Have always used PJ Hayman or Four Counties in the past. Have they stepped away? Only ever used it if it’s mandatory (like Spain). Anywhere else I haven’t bothered.
Assureton. Used them 5 or 6 times now. Website is very easy to use. For activity , click speed motorcyle. And formula 2 cover. 19.5 euro a day
Pulled the trigger on Assureton Sport in the end, some of my mates being quoted £296 by PJ Hayman for four days.
+1 for assureton Dont be like the guy at Almeria who got cheap only to find he wasnt covered after a big off. I hope the guy is ok.

It’s worth emphasising, read the small print very carefully. There are very few insurances that cover motorcycles over a certain cc and that applies to ordinary touring as well as track days. Andy
Reading the small print is one thing, understanding it is another. Better still, call the company and ask questions. My Silver Insureandgo policy with Hazardous Activities supplement (total £140) covers me for riding a motorcycle over 125cc on a track for medical costs, airlift and accommodation. Martial arts (training only) £100 Micro lighting £100 Motorcycling (over 125cc - not racing) £100 Mountain biking (including downhill racing and extreme ground conditions) £100 Mountain boarding £100 Ostrich riding or racing £100 It does not cover "personal accident or personal liability" which is a claim for my loss of earnings due to injury or damage to someone else in the accident. Anyone up for some Ostrich racing ?
Just swab the dog or something… Seriously though, would you lose your gig if you failed a PCR test? Haven’t done a travel requirement mandatory for a while now…
As France still have travel restrictions for un-vaccinated and I am driving down via the Channel Tunnel, will be an issue if myself or the Wife test positive the day before we travel, what a load of old nonsense this China Virus/Vaccinations stuff is.
Take one of those cooling vests and an electric fan or the PM sessions will be very uncomfortable. Or consider going with Promo Racing in September: 9-11 SETTEMBRE - MUGELLO CIRCUIT PROVE A TURNI - GRUPPI IN BASE AL TEMPO/GIRO or 25-27 SETTEMBRE - MUGELLO CIRCUIT PROVE A TURNI - GRUPPI IN BASE AL TEMPO/GIRO
This will be my sixth time at Mugello in the last seven years, so I am fully aware of the temp, high 30's some days, and very humid. To be honest this may well be my last time with FE, as I will be looking to do more with Promo Racing in the future.
