Eurosport Player on iPad3.

I've had it on an iPhone, iPad, iPad2 and an iPad mini if any of them are any good?

Picture quality was fine on all of those.....streaming....well that's gonna depend on how fast your data connection is.

 

I have it on Ipad3, connected to a 40" TV and audio through the HiFi, works a treat! WSB here I come

 

How do you connect the ipad to a tv?

 

Apple TV2 or 3, it sends the picture from the ipad wirelessly to the AppleTV which is connected to the screen by HDMI. AppleTV2 only goes up to HD 720 the TV3 allows full 1080

 

Or the dock connector to hdmi cable if you want to do it of the cheap.....

 

Don't expect to stream 720 or 1080 from eurosport player tho....no matter how it's connected.

 

So the apple TV3 wont stream eurosport in hd? Take it you cant get eurosport on freesat?

 

It's the way I get movies and TV progs from my media server onto the HD telly so I thought it was worth the difference. It also allows us to have the same music throughout the house.

 

If its just for Eurosport player check if your laptop has a hdmi connector and connect that to the tv, or the £35 apple cable for the iPad is the next best thing.

You can get 3rd party cables off fleabay for 2-3 quid, but you do get what you pay for.

If your into media streaming the Atv3 is worth it, you can pick up used ones for about £65, but if you know what your doing look at the price of used Atv2's......there is a reason for the high price, but it could be worth your while :wink:
