Hi All, I’ve been lurking on the forum for a while since I got a 749 Dark before Christmas. I’m getting back into riding after nearly a 10yr break, the last bike I has was a RSV1000 so I’ve stuck with Italian Twins! So far I’ve put in an Oberon clutch slave and Termi exhaust - next up will be a remap, new shock and fork revalve. If I’ve got one question - I’ve got a shallow sump bike with a alloy swing arm, the link pipe I got with the Termi is rubs the swing arm so presumably is for shallow sump/cast swingarm bike - will a deep sump link pipe fit (the Mivv one for example) or will this clash with the shallow sump or something else? It seems there could be 4 different link pipes depending on alloy/cast swingarm or shallow/deep sump?! Any help on that would be greatly appreciated!
Welcome @jusutus knows the pipes on these - I think there are only 2 link pipes. Try loosening everything first though and tweak the pipe clear, chock it and tighten, sometimes works form what I have heard...
