Hi All I was doing some research on how many bikes were currently left in the UK from particular bikes such as the SPS, R etc, and I stumbled upon this Search results for 'ducati 748' - How Many Left? I'd imagine that this is a true representation as all vehicles must either be Tax'd or declared SORN, Its reported that all figures are collated from the Department of Transport. Regards Jake
I think this utility was proven to be flawed because it bases its results on wha is shown on the V5 and that info is frequently incorrect. For example my lowly SP5 shows on my V5 as an SPS....oh how I wish it were
According to that site my 1100 Griso is nearly as popular on the road as a Monster, which is clearly bollocks.
Ok Guys ! Clearly the Database is flawed, how could I be so stupid to post something which is part controlled by the Department of Transport ??!! after all they couldn't manage a simple franchise bid for the West Coast Rail Line, so what chance do they have managing a database of vehicles.
You can download spreadsheets of all registered bikes (on road and SORNed) directly off the DoT website.
