  1. finally installed the Evotech Performance Exhaust Guard on my 1260s ...

as usual, the Evotech parts are extremely well engineered and manufactured.

also as usual, the installation instructions are absolute shite.

come on Evotech Performance ... produce installation instructions that match the quality of your parts.

  2. But they still do not fit if you have the genuine engine bars, as the top part of the guard & the middle part of the engine bars need to occupy the same space

  3. this was the reply I just received from email letting Evotech k now I thought their installation instructions left a lot to be desired. good on Evotech for replying ... a lot of other groups would simply blow off the comment.

    Hi John,

Stage 3 is removal of the rubber band that holds the wires.

Stage 4 is cut the cable tie to release the wire from the plastic cover.

I will pass this request on to the design team to try and clear this up on the instructions.

    Regards Garry

  4. I just installed them on my V2S as well ... useful to know they fit both bikes.

  5. I want one of these for my V4, but it’s not available yet.

  6. Definitely next on the list for me, the full set of guards.
